Full Description
In Cambridgeshire when photo taken, now in Norfolk due to boundary changes in 1990.

Cropmarks of 'block' type feature - ?modern.
D. Edwards (NLA).
Possibly - but note alignment along Old Croft River. May be pre-modern origin.
Nothing on 25 inch 1906 OS (S1).
B. Cushion and E. Rose (NLA), 22 January 1997.
May 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
The cropmarks of multiple ring ditches, probable extrication pits and field boundaries of unknown, but probable medieval to post medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs (S3). The multiple ring ditches may relate to medieval to post medieval stack stands. 11 elongated pit features are also visible as cropmarks. The features measure approximately 8m x 23m and may relate to former extraction pits, also of a possible medieval to post medieval date. Several linear features are visible across the area which likely relate to former medieval to post medieval field boundaries. The boundaries are not visible on readily accessible historic maps (such as S4).
