Full Description
1996. Metal detector finds.
Roman Colchester type one-piece brooch. Flat bow, with 'tooth-edge' to central bow and unusual decoration comprising six small triangles.
?Medieval part of very odd prick spur, for a very small foot. Conical prick rising from a broad hoop, sharply narrowing into arm (one survives). This terminates in roundel with an integral disc-headed stud. Probably medieval.
Identified by J. Davies (NCM) and S. Margeson (NCM).
H. Geake (NCM) 4 November 1996.
