Full Description
1996. Metal detecting.
Roman plate brooch of 'composite' type - open circle joined to solid triangle. Circle has seven external projections. Remains of colourful enamelling over entire surface. Remains of hinged pin lug and catch plate on back. 2nd century.

A number of prehistoric flakes and a retouched flake were recovered along with metal objects dating to the Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods.
