January 1997. Metal detecting.
Head and bow of small Early Saxon cruciform brooch. Very worn, with apparently undecorated head-plate, with one surviving half-round cast-in-one knob at top and single pin lug with iron corrosion on reverse. Hollow bow, very worn break. 6th century.
