Summary

There is an exceptionally well preserved 1940 Type 28a anti-tank emplacement for two anti-tank guns at this site. This World War Two spigot mortar gun emplacement has been up-ended and relocated on its side in a corner of the field, although it was probably originally sited to command approaches to the Three Holes Bridge.
