Summary

A Second Word War type 22 pillbox is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs form 1946. The pillbox is obscured by vegetation on recent (2017) aerial photographs but is visible as an extent structure on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017. It has been noted from field visits that the pillbox is facing north and all the brick facing on the pillbox has now gone.

A Second Word War type 22 pillbox is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs form 1946 (S2-S3). The pillbox is obscured by vegetation on recent (2017) aerial photographs (S4) but is visible as an extent structure on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 (S5).
The monument polygon has been updated to the extend of the feature as seen on S2.
