The remains of a World War II Alan-Williams turret can just be determined on OS aerial photographs from 1969 (S2). It is not visible on RAF 1946 aerial photographs due to tree cover. It has previously been recorded under the Norfolk defensive structures survey (D1-11); which shows it to be rare, dating to 1940/41 and in good condition.
