Summary

A type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on RAF 1945 and 1946 aerial photographs, as well as on OS images from 1973. The pillbox stands behind a hedge to the east of a crossroads.

A type 22 World War II pillbox (dated to 1940) is visible on RAF 1945 (S2-3) and 1946 (S4-5) aerial photographs, as well as on OS images from 1973 (S6). It is located to the north of the road within the field a short distance to the east of crossroads (NGR TG0134 4167). It has previously been included in the Norfolk Defensive Structures Survey (No. D1-1).
