Summary

The ruins of very rare CDL searchlight emplacement, now destroyed by cliff falls, used to defend the beach at Weybourne. A group of World War Two coastal defences were mapped near this location during the NMP from wartime photography under NHER 38625. This included the remains of this searchlight emplacement, several pillboxes and a possible underground structure. See record NHER 38625 for full details.
