Full Description
Pill box of unknown type which once stood on junction of B1157 and A148. Demolished when road was widened.
See (S1) in file.
D. Walker (NLA) July 1996.
June 2003. Norfolk NMP.
World War Two pillbox possibly visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1955 (S2). The possible structure is visible through a gap in the surrounding tree coverage. It appears to polygonal in shape, measuring 5m across and is probably a type 22. This may be the remains of the now disappeared pillbox recorded at this location.
S. Massey (NMP), 3 June 2003.
