Common 1940 type 22 pill box once stood on north bank of River Yare. Demolished in 1960s. [1]

A Common 1940 type 22 Pill box is visible on aerial photographs until at least 1971 (S2)-(S13), contrary to that stated above. The pillbox was centred on TG 2689 0789, and had been removed by 1980 (S14). See also (S15)
