Summary

This was the location of a type 24 pillbox. This is a relatively rare type, and it would have been constructed around 1940. By the early 1990's the anti-ricochet wall has been removed and it was in use as a shed. However, by 2021 the pillbox had been demolished.

This pillbox was visible from public footpaths in the area. It has been reported that this rare pillbox has been demolished.
