February 1997. River Yare, Brush Bend. Dredged up opposite Port Mark 128, 20m out and around 4.8m deep. Part of oak frame from clinker built vessel, with shaped strakes and large treenails. Possibly from a small inshore boat of very solid build, pre 1850. Note jagged break suggesting this may have been ripped off a wreck.
