World War Two tank traps utilising concrete anti-tank blocks have been mapped at several locations along the seafront at Mundesley (NHER 39182 and 39187). The anti-tank cylinders described above (see also S1) may have derived from these sites, particularly NHER 39187 which lay only a short distance to the south-east.
