Summary

A World War Two type 22 hexagonal concrete pillbox. Built in about 1940, it was part of the anti invasion defences of the time.

An extant World War Two hexagonal pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S2). It is overgrown with vegetation and is not clearly visible on some later aerial photographs.
