Map

World War Two anti-aircraft battery given this grid reference in (S1).
Is this accurate?
D. Gurney (NLA) 28 January 1997.

March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
There were no obvious signs of an anti-aircraft battery at this location visible on the aerial photographs. This may be an inaccurate grid reference provided for the site, however it is also possible that it had been removed before the earliest available aerial photographs for the site, which are dated to February 1941.
S. Massey (NMP), 27 March 2006.
