Full Description
April 1997. Fieldwalking, metal detecting and trial trench evaluation in advance of development.
Medieval sherds found.
Further work to take place and information to come.

July 1997. Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey and Trial Trench.
Evaluation on site of proposed extension to CPS Fuels depot.
Field survey recovered Roman sherds, a post-medieval buckle, potboilers, flints and slag.
The single trial trench exposed only three undated and post-medieval features.
