Full Description
November 1996. Casual fieldwalking. [1].
Fragment of lava quern, near cropmark NHER 30870 at location [2].
In southeast corner found by digger driver during drain laying.
Rim early medieval unglazed jar (quite fresh).
General finds up to 1996:
Five Roman grey, one Thetford type bowl rim (weight 16g), eleven medieval unglazed, four Glazed Grimston, four post medieval pottery sherds.

Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age plano convex knife. Sub triangular flake of dark brown flint with shallow invasive flaking along both converging sides. The blunt acute tip is abraded. The striking platform is plain and the bulb of percussion very prominent. Beaker period.
