Summary

Fieldwalking in this area during 1996-97 recovered sherds of Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery along with prehistoric worked flints and a Roman nail. Subsequent metal detecting here in 2001 retrieved a single Roman coin and a possible medieval weight.
