April 1997. Metal detecting.
Hammered sheet bronze leaf-shaped 'spoon' with part of twisted handle. Strong longitudinal ridge on flat 'bowl'. Upper surface edged with dot-in-circle motifs. Probably part of a Roman spoon probe or toilet spoon.
