Summary

Crossways Restaurant is a 17th century timber framed and plastered house, the front divided into moulded plaster panels, with a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. This two storey building has an off centre brick chimney stack and three 19th or 20th century gabled dormers with shaped barge boards.

"17th century timber frame. Plastered, divided into external panels. Modillion eaves cornice. Steep glazed pantile roof, offcentre stack Two storeys and attic. Modern first floor openings and dormers, leaded sash ground floor windows."

Often seen in passing by E. Rose (NLA), the exterior panels seem to be recent but the form of the house suggests an interesting frame within.
