Full Description
'Old Butts' marked on 1953 Ordnance Survey map.
Earthwork mound, rifle butts used by Volunteer Movement at time of South African ('Boer') War. Has in recent years gained the name of the Viking's Grave.
Information from a local man in about 1990.
