A149.
Seen during installation (moling north to south under main road) of electricity services to a domestic property. 1.8 to 2.4m (20 to 25 yards) east of Brancaster Staithe green. Earlier road surface 60 to 90cm (2 to 3 feet) below existing surface. ?Roman.

8 May 1997. Visit.
Probably to the house called `The Breakers', to judge from the recent resurfacings of the footpaths.
