1993 and 1997. Found casually. [1] [2].
Molehills on south side of house near moat:
Ten medieval unglazed including one frilled rim of jar and one bowl rim, two glazed Grimston Ware, three late medieval or transitional period, one post medieval stoneware, nine Glazed Red Earthenware (post medieval).
Vegetable garden south-west of house:
Two medieval unglazed, one glazed Grimston, one late medieval or transitional period.
'Moat' on south side of large moat-like ditch. Western and north-west boundary a substantial ditch. Short length of ditch at southern end of eastern. Measurements and more detailed description will be furnished in the near future.
NB. Eastern boundary = former common edge.

Early 2000. [3]. From Mole hills on south side of house in lawn near moat:
Three medieval unglazed including a bowl rim.
One small body sherd Roman greyware, profusely mincaceous, horizontal groove retaining burnishing.

South arm measures approx 65 metres long, approx 41/2 metres wide (max). Possible return to North and east end marked by depression in lawn. Overgrown in parts.

Five Late medieval or transitional period including bowl rims.

Fifteen medieval unglazed including one jar rim (in unusually pale reduced fine sandy fabric), one bowl rim and one basal.
Two glazed Grimston.
Three late medieval or transitional period wares including one strap handle.
Some Glazed Red Earthenware (post-medieval) not counted.

Twenty-two medieval unglazed including one bowl rim, five glazed Grimston including one with red slip trail and one strap handle. 5 Late medieval or transitional period ware including one small rectangular section handle. Much Glazed Red Earthenware (post-medieval).

Within moat in southeast part: 8 Medieval unglazed sherds including a bowl rim; 1 glazed Grimston; 1 medieval glazed with thin slip; 5 Late Medieval Transitional and 4 Greyware.
Generally located within garden: 9 medieval unglazed including a jar rim; 9 late medieval Transitional including two bases and jug rim; 1 16th century stoneware; 26 Glazed Red Earthenware; 1 tin-glazed earthenware; 1 Staffordshire combed slip; 1 other slipware.
