Full Description
August 1997. Metal-detecting Survey and Trial Trench.
Fieldwork in advance of new transmitter.
Metal-detector survey produced only modern objects.
No archaeologically significant features were observed in the single trench excavated. Early Saxon pottery sherds were recovered from a colluvial deposit.
