Summary

RAF aerial photography from 1946 recorded a searchlight battery comprising a group of three circular enclosures, and the shapes of three smaller circular structures which may have been machine gun positions, as well as some zig-zag walling or trenches. An extant pillbox adjacent to this site is now recorded separately as NHER 69491.

RAF aerial photograph shows searchlight battery comprising group of three circular enclosures, with one larger to south, with entrance to north. Possibly three smaller circular structures - ?machine gun positions, with some zig-zag walling or trenches.
Pill box shown still exists at TG 0547 0673.
Isolated building to northeast, adjacent to road may be part of site, as concrete path leads from it to the main features.
North of road, one circular enclosure and L-shaped wall with zig-zag section.

The extant pillbox at TG 0547 0673 is now recorded separately as NHER 69491.
