1996. Metal detecting. Shillings Lane.
Five Neolithic flints.
Identified by P. Robins (NCM), 21 November 1996.
Roman coin.
Medieval coins. Lists in file
Sagging base sherd of Green Glazed Grimston ware jug, with a single (thumb) indentation on the angle. 14th/15th century.
Copper alloy seal matrix with hexagonal section handle. Suspension loop missing. Oval die, very worn edges and part of legend missing. Spread eagle with legend *...AVILA IOHIS = Avila wife of John.
