Full Description
1996. Metal detecting.
Early Saxon side knob from florid cruciform brooch in the form of a human face wearing a hat and with two birds heads issuing from the mouth. Very nicely made, but now worn. On reverse is a double lug for pin bar, one lug rather worn. Early Saxon.
