Summary

Metal detecting between 1996 to 2024 recovered a prehistoric flint flake; medieval pottery; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval tokens and a range of other, medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a medieval belt chape or strap end, copper alloy stud, lead pot mends and lead fishing weight; a potentially medieval lead weight; a medieval/post-medieval mount or finial, copper alloy vessel fragments and copper alloy ring; post-medieval buckles and a padlock fragment and a potentially post-medieval lead weight.
