Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking at this location between 1996 and 2025 recovered prehistoric flint flakes; medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman and medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a number of other metal objects, including undated lead weights; a potentially Roman lead and iron weight; a Late Saxon/medieval lead spindle whorl; a medieval strap end or knife sheath chape, harness fitting and copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval probable harness fitting.

1996. Metal detecting finds. [1].
Medieval, possible strap end (compare with example in (S1) or knife sheath chape. Roughly V-shaped with trefoil lobe in centre; engraved decoration on one side. The tips of all arms, perhaps including attachment holes are missing.
Medieval part of a spout from a copper alloy vessel.
Medieval cast copper alloy leg from cauldron.
Undatable lead disc with a roughly central depression in each face. Probably a weight - 23.65gm.

13th century cooking pot unglazed rim sherd.
5 lead 'weights', undatable.
4th century coin, medieval penny and Norwich farthing token.
