Summary

Metal-detecting between 1996 and 2025 recovered a medieval pottery sherd; medieval coins and a number of other, Middle Bronze Age and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Middle Bronze Age unlooped palstave; medieval buckles, a strap end, casket key, thimble and lead weight; a medieval/post-medieval coin weight and silver pilgrim badge and a post-medieval strainer fragment, lead weight and lead cloth seal.
