Summary

In 1997 a medieval cast copper alloy strip mount was recovered on the surface of a field. The mount was triangular in cross section with a stylised animal head, and is thought to date to the 13th or 14th century.

Surface find by [1]:
Medieval cast bronze strip mount. Triangular cross section. Squared one end. Other end with stylised animal head and loop round to rear. Three attachment studs. Medieval 13th or 14th century date. Probably belt or box fitting.
