Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1996 recovered a variety of objects. Finds of note included Roman coins, a Middle Saxon buckle, a Late Saxon/medieval strap fitting and part of a vessel, a medieval lead seal matrix and medieval copper alloy crucifix.
