Summary

The present building is a 19th century block which incorporates a 17th century cross wing and a subsidiary wing with bricks dating to around 1600 and ceilings appearing to date to 1520. The garden walls date to the 18th century with 19th century alterations, and there are a number of reused stone fragments, mostly 14th century, in the curtilage. This large house is said to have documentary evidence as a medieval manorial site.

Present building consists of 19th century block partly incorporating a 17th century cross wing, and a subsidiary wing with bricks of around 1600 yet containing ceilings appearing to date around 1520 - but probably reassembled.
Sickle blade found in stack; 18th/19th century pottery used to infill 19th century cellar.
Garden walls of 18th century altered 19th century. 18th and 19th century outbuildings.
Very many fragments of reused stone in curtilage, presumably from church, mostly 14th century, some perhaps 17th century tomb fragments.
