Summary

Metal detecting in 1997 recovered a gilded horse harness pendant, depicting a lion passant guardant. It was probably made in the late 13th century.

Gilded horse harness pendant, bronze, openwork, lion passant guardant or. Trances of iron staining around suspension loop. Probably late 13th century. ?For England.
