November 1997. Watching Brief.
Observations of water pipeline.
A small collection of worked flints were collected during a walkover survey of the water pipeline easement and monitoring of spoil heaps and trenching operations. A coin of George III was also retrieved during metal detecting of the easement and spoil heaps. However, no archaeolgical deposits were identified within the pipeline trench.
