Full Description
Site of Home Guard base.
A small brick building with metal framed windows, a door to east, a chimneystack at the northwest corner, and an arched roof of corrugated iron tied on with string. Stated by local people to have been the local Home Guard headquarters during World War Two. It has some resemblance to the various brick non-defensive buildings found at level crossing sites etc. throughout Norfolk, but the latter do not usually have a known military function. The building was destroyed about 1990.
E. Rose (NAU), 4 December 1997.
