November 1997. Metal detecting.
Trapezoidal buckle frame, with most of its narrowed offset bar missing. The far side of the frame is rectangular in section, with a grooved pin rest interrupting a line of punched circles. The vertical outer edge of the frame has a longitudinal groove of uncertain function. Late Saxon or early medieval, 11th/12th century.
