Summary

Links Hall Farmhouse is an Elizabethan timber-framed house with an offcentre chimneystack, upper storey and attic. The house has remarkably ornate fireplaces, first floor doorways etc. suggesting high status. It was extended in brick in the 18th century, the roof replaced in the 19th century, and the original walls replaced in brick in the 20th century.

Elizabethan timber framed house with offcentre stack, upper storey and attic. Internal windows alleged to have formerly existed, indicating a hall-house, but no other evidence seen to support this. Remarkably ornate fireplaces, first floor doorways etc. suggest high status. Extended to west in brick in 18th century; roof 19th century; original
walls replaced in brick 20th century.
Ruined outbuilding to south perhaps 17th century.
