Summary

An 18th century red brick and stucco house with sash windows and a pantile roof. The present building probably incorporates the core of an earlier moated house recorded in 17th century documents. The moat was filled in in 1726. An early 19th century glebe terrier recorded various outbuildings including a laundry, a wine cellar and a garden house. The grounds were mainly created during the 19th century, and include a kitchen garden, a lake and plantations.
