Exterior briefly seen by E. Rose (NLA) 4 March 1998.
The house has a fire window level with the south gable stack. It is quite possible that the set of quoins level with the north stack may simply be decorative like those around the window bays, if not the cornice is clearly later.
Needs a very careful examination.
Southwest barn contains reused stone.
E. Rose (NLA) 6 March 1998.
