Summary

Flint and brick cottages, dating to the 17th century with later alterations, and reused medieval stonework, which may have come from Binham Priory, NHER 2081.

Row of three cottages, flint and brick, pantile roofs, two storeys. Two first floor sash windows, three ground floor windows and three doors.
No. 23 has good doorcase of about 1800. (S1) dates whole building to that period but the brickwork has since been stripped of paint. No. 23 has a band of brick between the floors.
No. 21 has large area of chequered brickwork above the ground floor, reused stone and a clamp iron in shape of letter 'A'.
No. 19 has horizontal row of bricks between floors, small window cut by ground floor sash, projecting south brick quoins to ground floor only sealed by present full height quoins.
All suggest 17th century single storey and attic house given upper storey in 1800.
