A medieval coin and a post medieval strap fitting, which had previously been identified as a Roman strap fitting, found by metal detecting.

Probably late Roman belt fitting with suspension loop (no signs of wear), central decorative hole, ornately shaped upper edge, short diagonal grooves along sides. Two iron rivets for attachment to belt.

2002.
Strap fitting found in February 1998 and identified as late Roman is not. It is very close to one found in Stanfield (NHER 7241) in 2002 and is post medieval.
