Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1998 recovered a variety of objects. Finds of note included a Middle Bronze Age spearhead, Roman coins, Middle and Late Saxon brooches, a medieval coin of King Erik Magnusson of Norway, a medieval seal belonging to a Reginald Page, a late 13th/14th century horse harness pendant that belonged a Robert Baynard of Great Hautbois and post medieval German jettons.
