Full Description
August 1998. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation trenching in advance of development.
Pair of parallel, intercutting ditches, perhaps marking green edge. Date uncertain, although one produced a small Late Saxon pottery sherd. Additional sherds of Late Saxon pottery were also recovered from the spoil heap.
Also adjuncts of 19th century school.
