Summary

Aerial photography from 1946 recorded a ditched enclosure around 70m square, situated to the west of High Farm. It is thought unlikely to be a moat, but not impossible, and is more likely to be a toft enclosure of High Farm. Roman and medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the inside of the enclosure.
