Summary

Metal-detecting between 1998 and 2019 recovered Neolithic and Bronze Age worked flint; Roman coins; a post-medieval token and a number of other, Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Saxon disc brooch and harness pendant; a medieval key, ewer spout, a trefoil mount possibly orginating from a processional cross and a copper alloy seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval purse fragment and thimble and a post-medieval purse fragment and weight.
