Full Description
January 1946. RAF aerial photograph.
Shows hedged trackway leading to mill mound which is a around 20m circular ditched enclosure, as earthwork.
30 August 1973. Ordnance Survey aerial photograph.
Shows slight evidence of ditch, and part of trackway.
September 1998. Visit.
Noted that trackway is now under farmyard and mound is part under new building and adjacent disturbed ground,
possibly a remnant as a low platform (0.1m high) around 20m across between this and straw bales.
Not convincing as surviving earthwork.
Copies of prints in file.
B. Cushion (NLA), September 1998.
