Full Description
1998. Metal detecting find.
Possibly corroded remains of a strap end. One end broken, at a pair of rivet holes? The other has a hook. Between each end the object tapers but has a large circular lobe in the centre with lines (once incised but now standing proud of the corroded surface) making a six-point star.
A. Rogerson (NLA), 2 October 1998.
