Summary

Metal-detecting in 1998 and 2014 recovered post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman and medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and Early Saxon, Middle/Late Saxon, medieval, and 16th to 17th century metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman spatula; a Roman/Early Saxon brooch; a Middle/Late Saxon pin; a medieval bar-mount, harness fitting and the end-cap from a scale-tang knife; a medieval/post-medieval hooked tag and post-medieval cloth seals and a mount.
